Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

Hello, I’m Eda, an experienced Art Psychotherapist offering a warm, calm, and creative space for adults, children and adolescents to explore emotions, relationships, and life’s challenges.

Since graduating from Goldsmiths MA Art Psychotherapy, I have worked with adults and children in charity and NHS settings, including learning disabilities, complex health conditions and autism. Currently, alongside private practice, I also work part-time in a public service with children and adolescents, supporting emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.

I have specialist training and extensive experience in working with;

  • Loss, bereavement, and life transitions, including complex grief
  • ADHD and autism, including identity exploration and neuro-affirmative approaches
  • General anxiety, self-image, and self-esteem issues
  • Relational and attachment difficulties
  • Trauma and emotional regulation
  • Supporting parents and professionals with strategies and a reflective space alongside their child's therapy

My approach is psychodynamic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive and inclusive - I work at your pace, offering a space that values curiosity, respect, and collaboration.

Art psychotherapy combines the power of creativity with verbal reflection. When you come for art therapy, you don’t need to be “good” at art or have any previous experience in art making — the focus isn’t on producing something finished or perfect, but on what emerges in the process and the meaning you make of it.

Sessions may include a mix of talking, art-making, and reflection. There’s never pressure to create — I’ll support you to find your own comfort, rhythm, and creative flow. I have a deep understanding of the diverse spectrum of strengths, challenges and needs autistic individuals have, and I have many tools that can support your unique needs.
