Autism Friendly Screenings at Cineworld Edinburgh

Main information

Service categories: Extra-curricular and leisure activities

On the first Sunday of each month at 11am, we host our Autism Friendly Screening - a screening specially adapted to create a relaxed and welcoming environment.

These screenings include reduced volume, dimmed lights, no trailers or adverts, and no assigned seating, giving guests the freedom to move around and enjoy the film in a way that suits them.

Films will be certified U, PG or 12A and are always family-friendly.

Our Autism Friendly Screenings always take place in the same screen (Screen 13), which is conveniently located next to a set of toilets as well as a seating area.

We also have a pair of ear defenders available to help reduce noise further.

Tickets can be booked in advance online or can be purchased at our Concessions counter or our ticket machines.
