SENDEA provides independent, legally informed support to families of autistic children and young people navigating the EHCP process in England. The service supports families from initial request for assessment through to SEND Tribunal appeal, helping ensure that needs are properly identified, specified, and supported within legally compliant EHCPs.
Support includes guidance on understanding local authority decisions, reviewing EHCP documentation, preparing evidence, and progressing to mediation or tribunal where required.
SENDEA are specialists on autism and are trained in NAS SPELL and have completed the NMH bundle (with 100% pass rate).
SENDEA:
Has a limited caseload, allowing focused and individualised case support.
Delivers advice in plain English to accommodate autistic and neurodivergent people.
Explains information clearly and without unnecessary jargon.
Agrees fixed fees in advance, supporting financial transparency.
Supports families to understand their rights under the Children and Families Act 2014.
