Two updated e-learning courses launched
Published on 13 August 2025

All of our training provides not only a fantastic knowledge base, but the added benefit of a true insight into the autistic experience. We pride ourselves in our ethos of co-development, and delivery of all training development and delivery that we do.
Our original suite of e-learning modules were created as part of the Ask Autism project, which launched back in 2013. The guiding principle of the Ask Autism project was to ensure the autistic voice was at the centre of its work. The five modules were developed in partnership with autistic people in response to recommendations in the Autism Strategy in England 2010.
Now, 12 years later – and with increasing knowledge and insights into autistic experience – those original five courses are going through a complete refresh.
We are really pleased to announce that the first two of these e-learning courses – Understanding autism and Autism and sensory experiences – have been fully updated. Continuing with the ethos of autistic voices being fundamental, they have both been fully updated and refreshed with new content, insights and films.

The e-learning courses include interactive features, such as reflective questions, film clips, quizzes, animation and learner activities. The new films give learners the opportunity to hear from a range of autistic people and autism allys, giving insights into both personal and professional experience.
We are also working on updating three more of our original e-learning courses. Autism and communication and Stress and anxiety aim to launch later in 2025. The fifth course, Supporting positive autistic experience through the SPELL framework, will be launching in early 2026.
