Why It’s Time To Show Up  

Autism awareness is at an all time high, but understanding lags far behind. Being chosen as TCS London Marathon’s Charity of the Year in 2027 is the moment we can change that.  The influence of London Marathon spreads far beyond the people participating. It’s a huge opportunity to share how people can truly show up for autistic people, improve understanding of autism, and celebrate acceptance and inclusion.  We created our campaign, It’s Time to Show Up, to do just that. And now you’re part of it. 

Over the coming months, we’ll share stories, information and practical ways you can help create a more understanding and neuroinclusive society - from learning more about autism and making changes in your workplace or community, to getting involved with #TeamAutism and the TCS London Marathon 2027. 

We’ll also be sharing how people and  organisations across the country are showing up for autistic people, and celebrating the people already helping to make a difference.
