I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor and mentor offering a counselling and mentoring approach for autistic and neurodivergent young people and adults. I work in a person-centred way to support individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, to address emotional or psychological challenges and work towards improved well-being. Sessions are held within a confidential and non-judgemental environment recognising individual strengths and preferences.

Areas of focus may include: anxiety and depression; post-diagnostic understanding; support within, or outside of, education; workplace and consideration of reasonable adjustments; emotional regulation and literacy; understanding sensory sensitivities.

I am a trauma informed therapist holding a Level 6 qualification in Trauma Therapy. I have a particular interest in trauma and autism, recognising how autistic individuals can experience increased trauma from everyday events such as school, work, the attitudes of others and discriminatory practices.

I enjoy working creatively when appropriate. I offer Walk & Talk sessions, taking therapy into nature, using movement, the environment and natural elements to aid personal expression. I am currently training in the Emotional Freedom Technique - also known as Tapping - which uses the fingertips to gently tap on meridian points in the body whilst focusing on emotional or physical discomfort to reduce this charge.

I work with autistic and neurodivergent individuals, those self-identifying as neurodivergent or those recognising social communication differences. I also work with parents and other family members. Accessibility to sessions is flexible and can be offered on-line or face-to-face in Petts Wood near Orpington, Kent.
