Specialist Advisory Teachers for Complex-communication, Autism and Neurodivergence can support identified school improvement priorities in relation to the development of more inclusive practice for all neurotypes. SAT-CCANs can support school leaders to evaluate current policy, provision and practice, identifying outcomes and collaborative action planning. Following which support for implementation and monitoring is available.

Other specialisms: Our specialist staff are experienced in needs identification, recommending and implementing provision. Our specialists have significant experience of carrying out dynamic assessment as part of multi-agency assessment pathways to inform clinical diagnostic decision making. Additionally staff are also qualified in the use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS 2), a standardized observational assessment tool that can be used to inform diagnostic assessments as carried out by clinicians.
