We provide assessment and diagnostic services for children and young people with suspected Autism. Our team consists of 3 highly specialist Speech and Language Therapists; a Child Psychiatrist and an Educational Psychologist all of whom are registered with the appropriate governing bodies.

We adhere to NICE guidelines for Autism diagnosis and use a variety of tools for assessment including the ADOS 2, ADI-r , CAT-Q and higher level language assessments. The assessment will be discussed by the Multidisciplinary Team to determine diagnosis. Following assessment we will provide you with a report which gives a profile of strengths and challenges and provides recommendations for families and schools.

We are happy to liaise with NHS colleagues and can visit schools where appropriate. We offer home visits, school visits or clinic appointments.
