Suicide Prevention UK (SPUK) provides compassionate, non-judgemental support for anyone experiencing thoughts of suicide, emotional distress, or concerns about their mental wellbeing.

This includes autistic people, who may face increased challenges such as social isolation, anxiety, depression, difficulties accessing appropriate support, or feeling misunderstood. SPUK's trained volunteers offer a confidential listening service, helping individuals talk through their thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment. The charity can also signpost callers to relevant services and support networks, including mental health, crisis, and community services.

Family members, carers, and friends who are concerned about someone at risk can also access advice and support. The National Suicide Prevention Helpline UK is available daily from 6pm to 10pm on 0800 587 0800.
