When you're seeking therapy you are likely already traveling a difficult journey. I hope to be able to come along side you and be finding some new skills and fine tuning some existing ones, start to make the journey easier and shift the direction to one that is more meaningful and rewarding. It's important to consider all that makes up you, including neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, ethnicity, etc, to shape therapy so that it the best fit it can be for you. So whether this is for Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, OCD or however you define your difficulty, I hope to make therapy the best fit it can be for you. Understanding what your individual autistic experience is key to knowing what adaptations would make therapy best for you. So, taking time to do this at the start of therapy is an important first step.

The foundation of my therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, from this base I bring in Mindfulness based therapy, Acceptance & Commitment therapy, Compassion focus therapy and Solution focussed therapy. As well as my 15 years as a psychotherapist I was a psychiatric nurse which brings a broad understanding of people's wellbeing experience.

A positive and supportive therapeutic relationship is important for therapy, to empower you to be open and take the risks which therapy will inevitably ask.
