I’m an Autistic Speech and Language Therapist offering neurodivergent‑affirming, trauma‑informed support for Autistic children, young people and adults. I work in person across Greater Manchester, and also virtually across the UK.
My practice is guided by the neurodiversity paradigm, focusing on helping Autistic people communicate and navigate real‑world situations, while honouring who they truly are.
I work collaboratively with families, carers and other professionals to understand each person's unique communication style and needs. My approach respects the wide diversity in how Autistic people communicate – (spoken, written, gestures, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), etc.).
You're in the right place if - your child communicates differently at home vs school, you want support that honours neurodivergent experiences, previous therapy focused on changing behaviour, e.g., Social Skills Training, or if you're an Autistic adult looking to explore your communication and build confidence.
I provide:
- Communication assessments that include a detailed report
- Therapy sessions
- Advice sessions with parents/carers
- Training
- Supervision/consultations
I'm also licensed to deliver the NeuroBears programme and trained in the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme for Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
