Tess Jewson is an HCPC-registered Music Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, offering individual and group music therapy sessions across Essex, including Chelmsford, Colchester, and Tiptree.

Sessions are tailored specifically for autistic children and adults:

• Uses music, singing, instrument-playing, improvisation, and songwriting to build communication, confidence, and connection in ways that don't rely on verbal language or eye contact
• Follows the individual's lead, adapting around their communication style, preferences, and sensory needs
• No musical experience or ability required
• Makaton signing integrated into sessions where helpful, particularly valuable for non-verbal or minimally verbal clients (Tess is a licensed Makaton Tutor)
• Sessions typically last up to 45 minutes following an initial assessment
• Can take place at home, in schools, or in other community settings
• Self-referrals and professional referrals both welcome
