Main information
Service categories: Counselling and therapies
I am an NCPS Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing neurodivergent-affirming therapy for autistic, AuDHD & ADHD adults, young people, parents and carers across the UK online and in Blackpool.
With over 17 years' experience supporting individuals within SEND, education and therapeutic settings, I understand the unique challenges autistic people may face, including anxiety, burnout, masking, low self-esteem, identity, relationships, life transitions and navigating education, employment and support systems.
My approach is tailored to autistic clients and those with AuDHD, ADHD and recognises that traditional counselling does not always meet neurodivergent needs. I provide a calm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you do not need to mask or explain your differences.
Sessions can be adapted to suit individual communication preferences, including the use of alternative communication methods where appropriate. I understand that autistic people may process information differently, need additional thinking time, or prefer a more structured approach. I also take account of sensory sensitivities, executive functioning differences and varying levels of comfort with social interaction.
Alongside my professional training and extensive SEND experience, I bring relevant lived experience of disability and caring responsibilities, helping me understand both the emotional and practical realities many autistic individuals and families face.
I also support parents and carers of autistic children, young people and adults who may be experiencing stress, overwhelm, uncertainty or difficulties navigating services and support systems.
