I’m a specialist paediatric occupational therapist and Advanced Sensory Integration Therapist, passionate about supporting autistic children and young people to thrive in daily life. Through my independent practice, Orla Paediatric OT, I provide individualised assessment, intervention, and family-centred support for children experiencing sensory processing differences, motor coordination difficulties, attention, and self-care challenges.

I use evidence-based approaches to support autistic children, alongside those with sensory integration difficulties, developmental coordination disorder (DCD/dyspraxia), and emotional regulation needs. I work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to develop practical strategies that help children build confidence, independence, and success across home, school, and community environments.

In addition to direct therapy, I offer bespoke training packages for schools, nurseries, and parents—delivered in-person or remotely. These sessions focus on increasing understanding of autism, sensory needs, motor development, and inclusive strategies, empowering adults to support children effectively.

Some assessments and consultations can be offered remotely, providing flexible access to support. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based, with a focus on empowering families and professionals with the tools they need to support meaningful, lasting change for autistic children.
