If you’re dealing with emotional challenges, life transitions, or simply looking to understand yourself better, I offer a supportive and compassionate environment where you can feel understood and encouraged. My aim is to create a space for you to explore your experiences and work toward the changes that matter most to you. I provide integrative counselling and psychotherapy, drawing on Gestalt, psychodynamic approaches, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). By blending these methods, I can adapt the work to each person’s needs and goals, supporting them in ways that are meaningful to their situation.
Working with neurodivergent clients is an important part of my practice, informed by experience, training and a genuine passion for understanding neurodivergent experiences. My approach is neuro-affirming and flexible, recognising and respecting different ways of thinking, communicating, processing and experiencing the world, while adapting the way we work together to reflect each individual's needs, strengths and experiences. Neurodiversity recognises that every human brain and nervous system is different. These differences are a natural part of human variation, with no two brains being exactly the same. Because we are all neurodiverse, we each experience, process and respond to the world in our own ways. Throughout our work together, I aim to understand each person's individual experience rather than make assumptions based on a formal or self-diagnosis. My approach is collaborative and flexible, adapting therapy to the person rather than expecting the person to adapt to the therapy.
My approach is warm and professional, with a focus on meeting each client as an individual, helping them discover their own path toward a more fulfilling life. I offer both short- and long-term support, with the option of in-person sessions in Birmingham and Solihull, or secure online sessions for those preferring flexibility and privacy of remote therapy.
I appreciate that seeking help can be a big step, and my focus is on helping you feel at ease while supporting you in finding the approach that works best for you.
