Newcastle Educational Psychology Service have been running the Teen Life programme since 2022. The Teen Life programme is licensed by the National Autistic Society and is for parents and carers of young people, aged 10-16, who have a diagnosis of Autism. Each family may also invite a supporting professional along to the sessions. Teen Life aims to empower parents, carers and professionals to understand more about how Autism is experienced by Autistic teenagers. The Teen Life programme runs over a 6 week period, with sessions lasting approximately 2 and a half hours. Applications are welcomed from parents and carers of Autistic young people, aged 10-16, who live in Newcastle or who attend an educational setting in Newcastle.
