National Autistic Society - Croydon Family Support
Main information
Service categories: Information, advice and advocacy
NAS Croydon Family Support is a project set up by The National Autistic Society (NAS) to provide information, advice and support to the parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) living in Croydon. The service provides advice, information and suggestions to help with the behavioural, emotional and practical challenges that living with a child or young person with ASD can present.
This service offers:
- Home visits to families of children aged 0-17 years to discuss diagnosis and challenges, rights, entitlements and benefits and services available to the family.
- Courses for families with children aged 5 and over who have an Autism diagnosis. Our course covers a range of topics including communication, visual supports, behaviour, and sensory differences.
- Activities and outings for families organised in the Easter, summer, Christmas, and half term holidays.
Families can refer themselves by contacting Croydon Family Support at croydon.familysupport@nas.org.uk.
