May Counselling

Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

Hi, I’m May.

I offer warm, confidential and non-judgemental online counselling. A place to talk through what's important to you and explore what you might want to change.

I’m a BACP-accredited person-centred counsellor, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BSc in Psychology. I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

I have particular experience working with LGBTQ+ people, sexuality, trans and non-binary people, as well as people in kink/BDSM, polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships. I also work with a lot of folk who are neurodivergent or disabled.

People come to me with many different things, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, stress, low confidence, bereavement, abuse, substance and alcohol use, compulsive behaviour, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.

I’m also qualified in EMDR, a therapy that supports people to process trauma or difficult past experiences.

I'm passionate about counselling and what I have to offer. If this sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
