MAPP Psychology offers comprehensive private autism assessments for children and adults in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our assessments are conducted by experienced HCPC and BPS-registered Doctors of Psychology and follow NICE guidelines, using evidence-based diagnostic tools aligned with NHS standards.

We take a holistic and neuro-affirming approach, considering each person’s individual experiences, strengths and challenges. The assessment process includes detailed clinical interviews (ADOS-2 and ADI-R), psychometric assessment tools, and input from parents, partners or family members to build a full picture of functioning across different settings.

Following assessment, clients receive a comprehensive diagnostic report with clear outcomes, personalised recommendations, and practical guidance for support at home, education or work. We also offer onward therapeutic support and post-diagnostic care tailored to individual needs.
