Louisa Harvey at Psychodynamic Therapy Birmingham

Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

I offer relational, psychodynamic therapy for adult individuals in Birmingham and online throughout the UK. I am AuDHD and queer, and mainly work with neurodivergent clients who are often part of the LGBTQIA+ community, though not exclusively. I work in a neuro- and gender-affirming way, often helping late diagnosed adults to make sense of their past and current experiences in light of this information as well as figuring out what that means for them in how best to care for themselves, and to thrive in the future.

I have experience working with bereaved clients, those who may have been in psychiatric services in the past, and those who have been harmed in therapy. I offer a consultation service of 1-3 sessions for clients harmed in therapy looking for a space to talk about it. This can be alongside current therapy.

Please see my website for more information about me and how I work.
