Main information
Kuwait Centre for Autism provides service to all students diagnosed with Autism. The Centre used REACH approach, based on behavioural and developmental psychological principals relevant to students with Autism.
- R - Relatedness: Relationships
- E - Environment: Issues such as a stuctured environment and low arousal spaces.
- A - Activities: Including Pre-Academic, Academic, Pre-Vocational and some Vocational (Workshop) activities.
- C - Communication: Including visual time-tables and the Big Book System with visuals aids to support communication. Objects or pictures.graphics are used to support expressive communication.
- H - Health & Wellbeing: Focus on healthy living, healthy eating (promoting habits such as regular water consumption), and sensory issues.
