We are a family run farm holiday cottage business alongside our working farm and farm shop. The self catering cottages are designed with 'sensory ' issues in mind, we hope to deliver a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a tranquil holiday here in Dumfries and Galloway . The three cottages sleep 2 or 4 per cottage in 1 or 2 bedrooms, each bedroom has its own shower bath room either ensuite or close by. Each cottage has an outside seating area with firepit and BBQ. We have experience with lots of differences however Autism and Dementia being our strongest areas. Our main aim would be to help our guests and visitors enjoy their very precious holiday time with us here in Scotland. The cottages are set in very peaceful countryside, with beautiful views in all directions. We are a working farm and have sheep, pigs, horses and chickens to feed and spend time with. We can offer tailored farm tours to suit most abilities and needs, talk to us we can generally help. We can send small mini films to view before you arrive to help any anxiety issues. We are open to requests for specific needs such as extra or specific bedding or bed make up. The farm is 5miles away from the nearest town where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes, parks, and a short drive away further will find you at beautiful beaches, forests, galleries, castles ,museums and much more. We have a good WIFI connection with Starlink so tech isn't generally an issue too.
