We are a school that caters for students with ASC. We currently cater for students between the ages of 3 and 19. Our overarching aims are to work in partnership with parents, carers, other schools within the Multi Academy Trust, the local authority, professionals and the local community to provide the very best education and outcomes for our children. We have state of the art facilities in the buildings and grounds which provide an environment suitable for learning needs of all our children and young people. Our facilities are purposefully designed differently to suit the needs of our students and young people. Our philosophy is 'teach the way they learn' so we can ensure that our education offer provided is innovative, engaging and meet the unique needs of our students. Our comprehensive outreach offer has ensured that we have been able to share our expertise with numerous schools within the local community as well as national and international education providers. Our tailored careers curriculum provides bespoke opportunities for our students to develop independence within all aspects of their school career; this can evolve from students completing class jobs in KS1 to students completing barista qualifications to work in Brewhog cafe while developing independent skills for daily life in the life skills flat.
