Giancarlo Cristea Psychotherapy — Neurodivergent-led Online Therapy

Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

I am Giancarlo Cristea, an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor based in Bournemouth, Dorset, working online across the UK and internationally. I am autistic and ADHD myself, late-identified, and a disability rights activist, so I understand neurodivergence from the inside as well as from clinical training. My belief is simple: your neurodivergence is not a problem to solve, it is a perspective to understand. I work in a neurodivergent-led way, shaping each session around how your mind actually works rather than asking you to fit a neurotypical template. This is a strengths-based, unmasking-safe space where stimming, processing differences and direct communication are welcomed. I draw on Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT-informed skills, Schema Therapy, and somatic and trauma-informed approaches, integrated to fit you. I work with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, PDA, OCD, neurodivergent burnout, masking and late diagnosis or self-identification, and the anxiety and identity questions that often come with them. I offer sessions in English and Romanian, and a free introductory call.
