Forks & Spoons

Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

Forks & Spoons offers online counselling for neurodivergent young people aged 12–25 across the UK. A diagnosis is not required — I support young people who are self-identifying or exploring possible neurodivergence.

As a neurodivergent clinician, I bring both professional training and lived experience. I understand that life can feel overwhelming, confusing or exhausting in ways that aren’t always visible to others. I offer a space where you can be yourself, without pressure to mask or fit expectations.

I work in a neuroaffirming way, ensuring that neurodivergence is understood, respected and supported. I often work with young people experiencing:

  • anxiety and overwhelm
  • challenges with school, university or work
  • burnout or exhaustion from masking
  • difficulties with confidence, identity or relationships

Every person is different, so I don’t assume what will help. Instead, I take time to get to know you and build a relationship that feels comfortable and supportive. This might include:

  • connecting through shared or special interests
  • using activities or games rather than only conversation
  • exploring creative ways to express thoughts and feelings

Your autonomy is central to our work. You’re encouraged to say what does and doesn’t feel right, and we check in regularly to make sure sessions are helpful. You won’t be judged for saying no or asking for something different.

My aim is to create an open, collaborative space where you feel safe, accepted and respected as you are.
