A National Autistic Society project for Greater Manchester and a point of contact for anyone who needs information about autism or related issues and can direct people to the relevant statutory services and voluntary agencies that offer support in local areas. The project supports the development of local services for families, carers and people with autism or Asperger syndrome through the Autism Services Development groups in each of the 10 local authorities in Greater Manchester. These multi-agency groups, which include parent representatives, are looking at ways of developing better services for all people with autism. There is a quarterly newsletter which is available on the website.
