Hi, I’m Emma. I’m a trauma-trained therapist based on the Somerset–Wiltshire border.
My work is grounded in trauma, but I also have substantial training in Autism, ADHD, AUDHD, OCD, sensory differences, and ARFID. I’m really interested in how trauma and neurodivergence overlap, things like masking, burnout, shutdown, and feeling misunderstood.
I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. We work together to find what suits you, whether that’s talking things through, having more structure, going at a slower pace, or bringing in more body-based or grounding work. There’s no pressure to “get it right” in sessions.
I also have lived experience as a parent of neurodivergent children, and I’m dyslexic myself, so I have lived experience of neurodiversity; it’s something I understand day-to-day as well as professionally.
Who I Work With
- Teens (15+) and adults
- People who are diagnosed, self-identifying, or exploring neurodivergence

How I Work
I work in a relational way, which basically means I focus on building a safe, steady connection first.
I bring in trauma understanding, attachment, and nervous system work, but always at your pace. Some sessions might feel more practical, others more reflective; we figure that out together.
