I’m Carol, an experienced counsellor, supervisor and mentor and I’m autistic. As well as my own experience of being autistic, I have a Master’s in Autism (M Ed Autism). I work as a counsellor in private practice and as a specialist mentor in universities supporting autistic students.

I provide

• counselling and support for young people (16+) and adults who are or think they are autistic
• counselling and support for parents when someone in their family is autistic

Living with autism can be challenging, but because I’m autistic myself, I have a real understanding of the issues or concerns you may have.

Whether you’re looking for help for yourself or for someone in your family, my approach is autism-friendly; it is about understanding your experience of autism and helping you find the ways to overcome the issues so that you can enjoy life and do the things that you would like to.

My private practice is based in New Alresford, near Winchester. If you are not local to New Alresford or prefer the convenience of working online, I provide sessions via Zoom.
