Are you Autistic, ADHD or AuDHD and struggling at work?
It might look like you’ve got a successful career. But only you know how hard you must work to get by – and what it costs you:
- Despite working all the time, you never get on top of your to do list and always feel behind
- Some days you’re on fire and can achieve lots and other days you sit at your desk not knowing how to get started
- You sacrifice sleeping, eating, exercise and spending time with your family to work - so your home life is chaos
- You can’t seem to get everything done without burning yourself out
- You hide how much you’re struggling – because you’re scared of anyone knowing your reality
Which leaves you constantly exhausted, burnout and blaming yourself - you wonder why you can’t just be like everyone else.
You’re smart, talented and great at what you do. But you’re also tired of being stressed, overworked and overwhelmed.
You know you want to change things, but you have no idea how. You’ve already tried everything - nothing works or you can’t stick to it.
When you’re Autistic, ADHD or AuDHD everything can feel harder. The everyday aspects of life are a struggle, which everyone else seems to find effortless.
The way forward is not to keep trying harder – it’s to set up your life in a way that suits how your brain naturally operates. This is what I help neurodivergent people do.
If you want to stop:
- Being disorganised and winging it through life
- Needing the weekend to recover from work
- Feeling like a failure
I can help you discover:
- How your brain naturally operates – and that you brain is not wrong
- What systems suit how your brain works – and these don’t have to look like everyone else’s
- That you are allowed to build a life that suits you
Which will mean you can start to enjoy a life where you can stay on top of everything, work and life are more manageable and less stressful and you have time and energy for yourself and the things that you actually want to do.
Because I know what it’s like to spend your life believing that you’re just bad at adulting. Until I discovered I am ADHD and Autistic in my late 40s I’d masked and white knuckled my way through life.
I didn’t know that:
- I wasn’t struggling because I was lazy or not trying hard enough, I have a brain that works differently and needs to do things differently
- I didn’t have anxiety or depression, I was experiencing recurring AuDHD burnout and a lot of advice I received wasn’t helpful
- I didn’t need to carry on over working, over committing and over stretching myself just to keep my head above water, I needed to set up my life in a way that works for my unique brain
I now combine my professional training as a counsellor, with a lifetime of being ADHD and Autistic to help neurodivergent people be successful at work AND have a personal life and time for themselves.
I have helped neurodivergent people to set up their life so they can:
- stay on top of their to do list, without relying on deadlines
- get things done – even the routine, boring stuff
- do more of the things they’re great at
- have time for themselves at the weekend to do more of what lights them up without feeling guilty
- get off the boom and bust burnout cycle
If you’re ready to:
- Stop guessing what works for your brain
- Streamline your life in a way that matches how your brain naturally works
- Have time and energy for yourself
- Successfully navigate life with ADHD and Autism
