The NAS EarlyBird Programme supports parents/carers of pre-school aged children under 5 years. The Earlybird Plus is for children under 10 years of age. Either diagnosed or on the autism pathway.

The programmes are held over approximately 3 months, term time only, either virtually or face to face.

We aim to support families to:

  • Understand Autism and how children experience the world around them.

  • Develop interactions and communication with their child

  • Understand their child's behaviour

Age: From age 2 to 10

Aimed at: Child , Children under the age of 12 years, children with complex needs and their parents or carers, Parent or carer of under 18, Parent/carer of a child, Parent/carer of a young person, Parents or carers, families, adults, Partner, Professional, School, Volunteer

Referral Sources: Education, NHS and Private, NHS Consultant, NHS Only, NHS primary care, Private Only, Social Care, Yourself

Registrations & Approaches

Specialisms: Autism, Autism and Neurodivergent , Challenging behaviour, Learning disability, Staff and volunteers get autism awareness training
