Recruitment Open Day

Would you like to come and work for us and make a difference to lives of autistic children and young people? Due to the increase in pupil numbers we have vacancies both in school and our Ofsted Outstanding residential provisions.

Boy smiling

When? Saturday 24 March, from 11am to 3pm

Where? Robert Ogden School, Clayton Lane, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0BG

What roles are you recruiting for? Full time and part time teaching assistants and residential support workers (some roles include night shifts), and some bank workers

Should I attend? If you share our values and want to make a difference on the lives of young autistic students, we'd love to meet you and tell you more about starting a fulfilling career in social care or education with us. You don't need to have previous experience as a teaching assistant and residential support worker but be willing to be resiliant, caring and sensitive towards the needs of our students and willing to learn and progress on the job

Do I need to book to attend? No, you can simply come along to the school - we'll have plenty of room for you! Just come to reception and they'll sign you in and direct you to the right room

How will I apply for the roles if I'm interested? You'll be able to apply for the roles on the spot when you're at the open day.

We are now one of the largest independent schools in the north of England for autistic children and young adults.

Our training, praised in our recent Ofsted Outstanding report, makes sure all successful applicants get a two week induction training course, and that support workers can do a level 3 qualification if they don't already have it.

If you have the passion and commitment to join our school and make a difference to the lives of our autistic students, we would love to see you at the open day.
