Access to high-quality short-stay respite can be highly pleasurable as well as helping to maintain family stability. Respite can be a few hours a week or overnight stays of up to one week long.

We offer a number of short breaks and respite services for parents and carers of adults with autism (including Asperger syndrome):

Children and young people

For parents and carers of children and young people up to the age of 19, a number of our schools have outstanding residential facilities and are well-placed to provide short breaks services. We offer flexible, reliable services at times when parents, carers or the young person need a break. Short breaks encompass holiday play schemes, overnight stays, weekend and week-long breaks.
