Elisabeth is a cellist with the world famous London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO). She received her autism diagnosis in 2009 but felt unable to talk publically about this until 2015.

On 2 April that year, to mark World Autism Awareness Day, she chose to tell friends and family, and was delighted to receive lots of support, not just from them, but from her LPO colleagues and the autism community.

Elisabeth is now in demand as a public speaker on autism and has recently given a TEDx talk about her life and neurodiversity.

What Elisabeth has done

Elisabeth has been supporting our charity since 2015, using her public profile to increase public understanding of autism.

Elisabeth is always open to talking about her experiences as an autistic woman and has taken part in a number of high profile media opportunities for the charity, most recently appearing on the BBC’s Daily Politics Show.
