Axcis Education

Axcis Education - Leaders in SEND Recruitment

Axcis Education are leaders in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) recruitment and work with provisions across England and Wales. They have been one of our key partners since 2011. During that time they have supported and sponsored many elements of our campaign and conference work, including MyWorld and Network Autism. Axcis assist schools by sourcing teaching and support staff for a range of settings, from mainstream primary, secondary and FE schools to specialist provisions, residential units, hospital schools and even home tuition services. Their expertise across the professional sphere is helping to transform the lives of autistic children.

Disney Theatrical Group

In 2018 we awarded Disney’s The Lion King and the Lyceum Theatre an Autism-Friendly Award, demonstrating their commitment to making the theatre experience welcoming to autistic people and their families. Autism-friendly performances are specially adapted to be as accessible as possible. This includes:

  • providing clear information before and during your visit
  • educating members of staff about autism
  • making a commitment to raising autism awareness among the general public.

Disney’s The Lion King also raise vital funds for our charity by hosting bucket collections after performances on the week running up to the autism-friendly production.
