Our resource centres in the Newport area offer a range of activities including: independent living skills; social skills using our Socialeyes programme; leisure and sports; information communication technology (ICT); carpentry; creative therapies, including music, movement and creative arts; learning to work as a team; personal care and behavioural management; outreach support; vocational and educational support in partnership with local colleges employment skills. As well as our centre in North Street, Newport, we run Tir Newydd (or 'New Ground' in English). This service in Caerleon which offers vocational training in practical activities in community settings, as well as in a large horticultural area in the grounds of Orchard House, our local residential service.
