Yangdzom Lama Acupuncture – Autism & Neurodivergent Affirming Care

Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

I offer Five Element acupuncture in a calm, compassionate, and neurodivergent-affirming environment where you are welcomed exactly as you are. As an autistic practitioner, my lived experience of sensory overload, burnout, and emotional distress shapes the way I practise.

Five Element acupuncture is a classical tradition rooted in Chinese medicine, with origins stretching back thousands of years. It recognises the connection between physical health, emotional wellbeing, and the unique constitution of each individual. Every treatment is tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to listen carefully and work collaboratively with you, adapting communication, pacing, and the treatment environment to suit your needs. I explain each step of the treatment clearly beforehand, so you know what to expect, and I am always happy to answer questions or adjust the session to help you feel comfortable. Whether that means allowing extra processing time, minimising sensory input, or creating space to unmask without judgement, my aim is to help you feel safe, heard, and respected.

At its heart, Five Element acupuncture supports the body's natural capacity for healing. My aim is to help you restore balance, deepen your connection with yourself, and cultivate greater resilience and wellbeing.
