I’m Jayne. I’m a late diagnosed AuDHD woman and a specialist nervous system coach and SSP Practitioner, working online with women across the UK.
I work with midlife women who are autistic, ADHD or AuDHD, including those who are late diagnosed, newly diagnosed, self-identifying or still trying to understand themselves.
You might be feel overwhelmed, exhausted, very sensitive to the world around you, confused by your responses, or find yourself repeatedly pushing through, and pleasing others until there is very little left for you. Masking, chronic stress, burnout and the effects of trauma are common.
My work is slow, relational and neuro-affirming. We are not trying to make you better at overriding yourself or fitting into other people’s expectations. Together, we begin to notice patterns, make sense of responses and understand what your nervous system may be communicating.
I have developed SSP Together™, my way of working with SSP to support neurodivergent and nervous systems shaped by trauma. Listening is used gently alongside conversation, nervous system understanding, safe connection and co-regulation.
Sound can offer a little distance from having to focus directly on the body. We can explore what happens together, we can start to understand your unique responses.
Over time, the work is about knowing yourself more fully: recognising your needs and limits earlier, understanding what helps, having more choice, and becoming better able to respond to yourself rather than continually pushing through.
I have almost 30 years’ experience of working with human complexity. I now work as a coach rather than a therapist. My practice is trauma-sensitive, neuro-affirming and compassionate.
I work weekly and usually over a longer period, because this kind of understanding and change takes time.
