BANDs Bath Autism and Neurodiversity spectrums

Main information

Type of service: Social groups

BANDs Bath Autism and Neurodiversity spectrums are peer advocacy and support groups which meet one afternoon and evening a month in central Bath and Frome. We also run a theatre and social group one Thursday a month These groups are for adults on the autism or neurodiversity spectrums. They have a cinema, cafe and pub group with the times each month being sent out in a text or email the weekend before they meet. We plan to hold board gaming cafe groups and go on day trips to Weston-super-mare and Weymouth yearly. Extra meet ups can be arranged on request eg to see a one off music event. We have a Xmas meal in December and hope to expand to include bowling and/or day trips. Anyone who joins must be respectful of others sexuality, disability, race and gender (including transgender). This includes parents and carers who may attend. Parents or carers/support workers may attend with their over 16 year old children.
