Autism Berkshire is a support and information service giving advice and information via a helpline - support for families of autistic children and young people is available on 0118 959 4594 (option 1) or by email at contact@autismberkshire.org.uk, and for adults and their parents/carers by calling 01189 594 594 (option 2) or by email at adult.support@autismberkshire.org.uk
The Helpline service is available on weekdays, except bank holidays.
The charity also provides the NHS-funded county-wide Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service and the Berkshire West Autism & ADHD Support Service for families with autistic and/or ADHD children who live in the Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire council areas.
These services offer a range of support and advice workshops for the parents and carers of children on the autism spectrum and those with confirmed or suspected autism and/or ADHD, and for autistic adults and their parents and carers.
Autism Berkshire also runs leisure activities for autistic children and adults, including trampolining, social groups and lunch clubs.
It issues the Thames Valley Autism Alert Card, in conjunction with Thames Valley Police. The card is available free of charge to anyone with an autism diagnosis who lives in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes.
Autism Berkshire is a licensed Teen Life and EarlyBird Plus provider.
