Service categories: Counselling and therapies

We offer children's Occupational Therapy and specialise in autism, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) and EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance). Our assessments and therapy are neuroaffirmative and low-demand. This can mean we work with both children and their parents or carers.

Our services are available online and across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and the Bristol area.

We work with children who have difficulties with:

  • Anxiety including school anxiety or EBSA.
  • Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia.
  • PDA
  • Sensory processing.
  • Handwriting and schoolwork.
  • Concentration.
  • Gross motor skills.
  • Self-care skills.

Our service delivers assessment reports that can be used as evidence for:

  • School adaptations.
  • Diagnostic assessments.
  • EHCPs.
  • EOTAS.
  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA) claims.

The service is delivered by Faith Newton and Ben Newton. Faith is a registered Occupational Therapist with training in Sensory Integration and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Ben is a Chartered Psychologist and Life Coach. They have two neurodivergent children.
