A #TeamAutism marathon family

The Virgin London Marathon has been postponed to 4 October 2020.

If you are a current Team Autism participant in this event, you will have received an e-mail from the National Autistic Society and the Virgin London Marathon organisers, outlining your options regarding your charity or ballot place. For the latest statement and further information please visit the official event website.

Please let us know by 5pm on Tuesday 31 March whether you plan to participate on 4 October, defer your place to the 2021 London Marathon or drop out of the event, by emailing events@nas.org.uk.

We would love to have you. All you need to do is fill out our form to let us know that you've got your own place and want to use it to run for Team Autism.

How we will support you

Our charity is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people, and every penny you raise will help us achieve this goal.

We would love you to join Team Autism and everyone who runs with the National Autistic Society receives:

  1. fundraising materials and a downloadable planner to help boost your fundraising
  2. an online training zone, full of expert training tips, information on injury prevention and race nutrition
  3. access to our team training day in London with a qualified coach and a fundraising workshop
  4. a high quality charity running vest that you can personalise with iron-on letters
  5. a pasta party invitation, where you can join the events team and #TeamAutism runners in a carb-loading meal the night before the marathon
  6. support from our amazing autism cheer point to give you that extra push along the route – friends and family are encouraged to join in!
  7. a post-event reception at a hotel with massages, showers, food and photos. Again, friends and family are welcome
  8. and finally, our dedicated staff member, John Springate, who is on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks so much for letting me be part of this awesome journey, Team Autism. So well organised and supported with lots of amazing advice and encouragement along the way. Couldn't have done it without you.
