The course runs online weekly for six weeks, often in the evenings. The number of screens participating in each course is limited to twelve to ensure there is time to share experiences and ask questions. Two family members can join on one screen. The sessions are structured to support your understanding of your child through a PowerPoint presentation, discussion and problem solving times, and relevant video clips hearing from the experiences of autistic adults and young people.

We are specialist teachers with a masters degree in autism (children and young people) and extensive experience working with families and schools. The course content is regularly updated to keep abreast of current thinking and research. Topics include; Building on your understanding of your child, The art of communication, Being social, Sensational senses, Nurturing well-being and emotional regulation, and Behaviour as communication.
