Type of service: Nursery and pre-schools
The Portage Service is an educational home visiting service for pre-school children who have learning difficulty, developmental delay or disability. A Portage Home Visitor offers carefully structured, flexible learning programmes to help parents encourage their child's development and to teach them new skills.
The Rotherham Portage Service is for children 0-3 years who have 2 or more areas of delay in their development, and who do not attend Foundation Stage 1.
