Holistic Bodywork, Movement, Mindfulness and Breathwork

Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

I offer holistic bodywork, one-on-one yoga and chi gong, breathwork tuition and mindfulness coaching for individuals with autism. I can help you ease physical pain, find more space in your body, learn how to relax, or teach you different ways to care for your body so that you feel better and more in balance in body and mind.

I am a late-diagnosed autistic and understand that there are often many barriers that may prevent people from accessing holistic therapies, including movement or breathwork. Every session that I undertake is tailored to your needs. I offer a free pre-session consultation, which can be done online, by telephone or by email. This allows you to meet me and get to know me!

Massage works to help regulate sensory input and provides tactile stimulation in a controlled and predictable manner. This can support sensory integration (the process of the brain organising and responding to information from the senses), improve body awareness, and enhance overall sensory processing abilities. Deep massage can enhance proprioceptive awareness, allowing people to have a better sense of where their bodies are in space. It can also help to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and provide a safe space in which to just ‘be’. All of this can lead to improved mood, better sleep patterns, and an increased feeling of being ‘present’ in the body. And of course, we can work together at the same time to reduce chronic musculoskeletal pain, ease headaches and migraines, bring more space to the body and improve your range of motion.

My one-on-one work is aimed at giving autistic people tools to help them live with more self-awareness and ease. I am an experienced movement, breathwork and mindfulness teacher, and can help anyone to access these modalities, in order to learn solid and practical ways to deal with the challenges that neurodivergence creates.
