Main information

Service categories: Counselling and therapies

I'm Laura. I provide online and telephone counselling for neurodivergent people and the people in their support system - parents and carers, partners, siblings and other loved ones. I have a particular (but not exclusive) interest in working with ASD, ADHD and PDA profiles.

In counselling, we'll work towards change—but this doesn’t mean changing to fit into society’s expectations. Instead, it's about exploring what change means for you, on your own terms, in a way that supports your wellbeing and authenticity.

My core training is in person-centred therapy, so I’m committed to truly understanding your perspective—offering you what might be a rare experience of feeling deeply heard and understood. On top of this, I’ve completed extra training in third-wave CBT. This means we can introduce ideas and perspectives from mindfulness, DBT, ACT and CFT into our work together, all of which offer great insights into how we relate to our thoughts and emotions, helping to build self-compassion, emotional fortitude, and greater psychological flexibility.

As well as professional qualifications, I have lived experience of my own neurodivergence and supporting neurodivergence in my loved ones.

Sessions take place online where I can offer a choice of platform from Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and doxy; or over the phone via Whatsapp voice call. I can offer weekly or fortnightly sessions. Sessions are 50 to 60 minutes long and cost £50.

Starting counselling can feel daunting, and online therapy may come with its own uncertainties. The key to successful therapy is finding the right fit, so I offer a free 20-minute call to explore your needs and see if we’re a good match.

I currently have availability for weekly and fortnightly sessions. Weekly - Tuesdays at 7:30pm, Wednesdays at 4:30pm, and Fridays at 10:30am and 2pm. Fortnightly - Tuesdays at 5:30pm, and Fridays at 10:30am and 4:30pm. If these times could work for you, please do get in touch!
