What is Access to Work Coaching?

Access to Work (AtW) is a UK government scheme that helps remove barriers to work for disabled and neurodivergent people. If you're autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, you may be eligible for funded coaching support to help you thrive at work.

I offer specialist neurodiversity-affirming coaching through Access to Work, supporting you with the practical, emotional, and sensory challenges that can come up in the workplace.

This support is sometimes listed in access-to-works report as ADHD coaching, neurodivergence coaching, support worker, support strategy coaching (and more names!- if you're unsure email me)

How I Can Help

As a multiply neurodivergent Occupational Therapist, I understand the spiky profiles, demand avoidance, executive functioning challenges, and sensory needs that can affect your work life.

My support is person-centred and designed with you in mind. Support might include:

  • Building confidence & self-advocacy at work
  • Executive functioning support (planning, memory, organisation)
  • Managing sensory overload or burnout
  • Navigating remote work or communication differences
  • Creating sustainable routines or transitions
  • Setting goals and accountability partnering
  • Identifying reasonable adjustments
  • Coping with demand avoidance, masking, and workplace fatigue
  • Anything at home which is impacting you at work e.g sleep, understanding your sensory self, emotions & much more

Is It Funded?

Yes! If you’re eligible for Access to Work, the government will usually cover the cost of around 12 coaching sessions (sometimes more). You don’t need a formal diagnosis, and it’s free to apply.

I also provide guidance on applying for Access to Work, I know forms can be overwhelming.

Who is This For?

  • Autistic adults (diagnosed or self-identifying)
  • ADHDers and AuDHDers (diagnosed or self-identifying)
  • People with mental health conditions, other types of neurodivergence e.g dyslexia, dyspraxia, tourettes's
  • Employees, freelancers, or job seekers
  • UK-based
