GT Fitness and Wellbeing provides inclusive and accessible fitness coaching for people of all ages and abilities. We specialise in supporting neurodivergent individuals, children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and adults with learning disabilities. Our innovative exercise programmes are designed to support overall physical health and mental wellbeing, whilst also developing key skills and essential body movements that affect all aspects of our clients’ daily lives.
We focus on using functional fitness to benefit both physical and mental health. Each movement taught in a session can be easily adapted, enabling every individual to participate, make progress, and leave the session feeling more positive than when they started.
We use a range of strategies to ensure sessions are fully accessible to each individual, including:
- Visual aids and visual session schedules
- Adapted communication and instructional styles
- Variety and novelty in the range of exercises
- Structured choices for a sense of control
- Incorporation of special interests
- Established, consistent routines
- Use of assistive devices
Face to face within Hertsfordshire, Barnet and Harrow. Online sessions available for other locations.
