The National Autistic Society's South Gloucestershire branch offers support to parents and carers of autistic children and young people (including those with a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome or SLCN). The branch has an evening support that meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 7pm - 9pm. In addition to this we hold a monthly science club and youth group for children and young people on the autism spectrum.
At the moment we run 4 youth groups per month, 2 family days every year and support groups per month and our bi-annual fundraisers.
1st Saturday is Game (2 clubs) Session 1 is for 10-13 year olds. Session 2 is for 14-19 year olds.
2nd Saturday is Science Group for 7-14 year olds.
3rd Saturday is Drama Group for 7-14 year olds.
4th Saturday is Variable usually for 2 hours age range varies depending on activity but we do things like, Bowling, Airhop, Graffitti Art, Drumming, Swimming, Climbing, Golf.
1st Tuesday of every month is Evening Support for 2 hours
3rd Wednesday of every month is Daytime Support for 2 hours
Our family days are held at Christmas and in the Summer.
