Dr. Jo Steer
Dr Jo Steer qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2004 and is now Associate Director for the Emotional Health Service at Achieving for Children in South West London. This service is commissioned to provide child and adolescent mental health services including neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD.
Jo has co-authored My unique ADHD world, a children’s book published in 2023. Jo edited and contributed to Understanding ADHD in girls and women in 2021, which has been described as “the most important book written in the field of ADHD for many, many years”. Jo provides training for the workforce, including for NHS Scotland and NHS Wales, and has been interviewed for podcasts and Radio 4 on ADHD in girls and women. Jo has also authored Supporting kids and teens with exam stress in school: A workbook and co-authored Helping kids and teens with ADHD in school: A workbook.
