Why choose us?
We have autism expertise and knowledge, offer person-centred care, and help people understand their diagnosis.

Placement suitability
The residents living at Melloway are one male and one female. They are independent and require support staff to faciliate skill development in aspects of daily living. Although they interact, they prefer their own space. This is a quiet house. The downstairs layout includes an open plan kitchen and dining area, downstairs toilet, communal living space, and downstairs bedroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. There is a driveway with a garage and a two tiered garden.
There is a designated smoking area as one of the residents smokes.
All referrals would need to be for an adult over 18 years old with a diagnosis, and funding in place from the local authority or health trust who are seeking supported living services.
In England the regulatory body CQC is ensuring support providers are providing local services for local people. Therefore when we receive a referral from a local authority outside of where our service is, we need to demonstrate we have taken steps to explore meaningful family links or connections to the area. We would also need a clear rationale from the funder as to why an out of county placement is being sought. Therefore not all referrals may be considered for each NAS service.
